Take That, Tumors!
Welcome to our team, Take that, Tumors! It is the 24th anniversary of Angels Among Us. We are hoping to make our team goal of $2,400 and to have more people join our team. You can walk or run the 5K on April 29, 2017 with us at Duke.
Please tell your friends and family to join our team or make a donation to this cause that is so close to our hearts.
My uncle, David Coronis, passed away on March 13th, 2011 after a long battle with lung cancer that metastasized to his brain. We are walking in memory of him, Julia Holland Sarfarian, Nancy Cutright and many others. We are also walking in honor of Jazz's mother, Sonya Rivers, who is cancer free!
A brain tumor diagnosis will ripple across your entire life. Priorities shift. Every moment becomes more meaningful. Relationships become more loving. Time more precious.
At the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke, they understand how overwhelming a brain tumor diagnosis can be and they are passionate about understanding the "how" and "why" of brain tumors. But they need our support to push their research forward at a faster rate to find a cure.
Help us find a cure! Join with us so no other family must endure the pain of having a loved one diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Thank you for your support. Your gift puts us closer to the goal of finding a cure for brain tumors.
