We've proudly walked in support of ovarian cancer fundraising and awareness since 2007, the first walk after Marion's diagnosis in fall 2006. We've huffed and puffed along the course because we believe in Marion's fight--and the fight so many other women wage against this terrible disease--and because we treasured every year with her by our side.

This year we plan for our walk with heavy hearts because Marion is no longer with us. But we will walk with continued determination to raise money to fund research into treatment for ovarian cancer. We will walk in loving remembrance of her courage, optimism, and beauty. We will walk with her in our hearts.

We invite you to join our team by walking with us, running the 5k, or pledging your support to the team or an individual member. Your gift will inspire, support, and sustain the many other women receiving care at Duke. Our goal as a team is $1500. (We bet we can beat it!)
