This is one of my favorite pictures of Greg -- taking on the world on two wheels, unphased. We almost didn't form a team this year. But, Greg's circle outreached and with a whisper from heaven, here we are. If nothing else, AAU is a time for people to come together and share stories, glances, smiles, and tears around the beast known as brain cancer. My children always ask, Why? Why do people get brain cancer? Why did Daddy get brain cancer? May the funds generated from this day help them move towards an answer.
Greg has many friends and loved ones connected to Duke's Brain Tumor Center. May they feel his presence and know that he loved them and held great respect for the experience of living with cancer.
We don't have a separate shirt this year. Please wear one from a past year. I have a box of old shirts and am happy to share if you need one.
