Dear Family and Friends,

To support my brother-in-law, Charles, I am participating in the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center's Angels Among Us 5K & Family Fun Walk at Duke on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Charles was diagnosed with a glioblastoma last August and has undergone surgery, radiation and chemo. He has received excellent treatment and support from the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center.

Charles is a very brave man and continues to lead as much as a normal life as possible after his diagnosis. His treatments do drain his energy, but he is able to work, serve his church, spend quality time with his family and friends and, fish.

I hope to raise awareness of brain tumors and the Tisch Brain Tumor Center's great work. We are fortunate to have the Tisch Brain Center so close to Charles and our family.
