Hi family and friends! 
Hope this email finds everyone doing well. It is hard to believe that a year has already passed since my mom was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Thankfully, hers is not malignant, but she still lives with side effects from the tumor daily. As of right now, all of the doctors on her case agree that surgery is way too risky. So, she is followed with annual MRIs , as well as routine follow-up appointments with several specialists at Duke. We have been very impressed with the care that she has received. 

So, we would like to show our continued support for Mom, the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, and for all of the other families who have been touched by brain tumors. We would love for you to join our team 'Jo Mama's Joggers' for our second year at the Angels Among Us 5K and Family Fun Walk on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
