In Memory of Trish Edwards

July 3, 1977 - September 25, 2009

Trish graduated from the St. Hildas High School for girls in Brown's Town, St. Ann, Jamaica, in 1993, at the age of fifteen. She was very smart and loved to read. Trish also graduated from the Excelsor community College in Kingston Jamacia.

After graduating college, she went on to teach at the Cascade Primary and Junior High School, in Portland Jamaica. She worked as a teacher until she migrated to the United States to be with her mother in Queens, New York.

Trish Enlisted in the United States Army while visiting her cousin in Germany. She was a sergent in the army and was stationed at Fort Stewart Georgia. She was first stationed at Fort Carson Colorado and later to Fort Stewart Georgia. She completed two tours in Iraq. Trish loved her job and was always ready to do what ever she needed to do for her soldiers and their families.

Trish was a kindhearted person who was always looking out for her friends and family. She always had a smile and a positive attitude. Even through her sickness, she was encouraging her friends and never gave up hope that she would be all right.

She supported many charities including the disabled veterans, feed the children and the cancer society. She was the usher in her church. Once you met Trish, it was hard for you to forget her. She was a fighter and a woman of great strength. She is greatly missed.
